Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Parameter LLC ("we"), which operates BeamHello. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use BeamHello for a company, you accept them for that company. Our Privacy notice explains how we handle data.

The service

BeamHello lets you create digital business cards, share them by link, QR code, NFC tag and wallet pass, collect contacts that recipients choose to send you, and (on Team plans and up) sync those contacts to HubSpot. People who open your card never need an account.

Your account

• You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep that inbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you create cards for.
• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.

Plans, trials and billing

• The Free plan is free for as long as we offer it. Paid plans (Solo, Team, Team 25, Agency) are billed monthly or yearly in advance at the prices on our pricing page, plus any tax that applies. Prices are per organisation, not per seat.
• Paid plans start with a 14-day trial with a card on file. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the plan renews and your card is charged.
• You can change plans or cancel any time from Billing in the dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires it.
• If a payment fails we'll tell you and retry. If it stays unpaid, the account moves back to the Free plan: extra cards are archived, not deleted, and come back when you upgrade again.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A change applies from your next renewal after the notice.

Your content

• You own what you put on your cards: names, photos, logos, links and text. You give us the permission we need to host, display and deliver it to the people you share it with.
• Only publish content you have the right to publish, and contact details of people who agreed to have a card.
• Contacts that recipients send you through your card belong to your account. Handle them lawfully, including any rules on marketing consent where you or they are.

Acceptable use

Don't use BeamHello for spam, phishing, impersonation, malware, illegal content, or to mislead people about who you are. Don't try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service. We may unpublish cards or suspend accounts that do, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Third-party services

Payments run through Stripe, email through Mailgun, and the optional HubSpot sync through your own HubSpot account. Their terms apply to your use of them. If you disconnect HubSpot, contacts already synced stay in HubSpot.

Availability and changes

We work to keep BeamHello fast and available but don't promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features; if we remove something you pay for, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using BeamHello and close your account at any time (see Privacy for how deletion works). We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or at once for a serious breach of these terms. When an account closes, its cards stop loading.

Liability

BeamHello is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We'll post changes here and update the date above. For changes that matter, we'll email account holders at least 14 days before they apply.
